This game is good, but not as good as it's predecessor.
It is fun to use the weapons of WWII in a GOOD CoD engine, and the new additions, like bayonets, are hilarious and mostly fun. Here is my beef.
They totally hosed the balance up!!
First off, tanks are just horrifying, they take 3 people to fight, and they turn any game they participate in into a tank and sniper only game, since any other weapon will be insufficient to distance yourself from the aforementioned juggernauts.
Second, why did things like claymores get revamped to make them not work, when they used to work fine?
Claymores had a good use, and those who had eyes AND a brain could easily avoid a good amount of them. Bouncing Betties are totally invisible till you hit them, since no one can just walk around looking for twigs on the ground.
LAST STAND AND MARTYRDOM ARE STILL HERE!!! Enough said.
These things make me want to boycott Treyarch, but even with these issues, it is worth playing, it has an interesting story, and it's Hardcore mode, minimizes the power of tanks and mines since the average pistol can do the same job.
Give it a shot, but don't go all out.

#111: Left4Dead
I'm sorry to have disappeared over Christmas but I am so wrapped up(Rofl) in this game that I don't think the same anymore, I cannot believe there is a game with this much quality and balance to it, get it, play it, love it.

#110: Using an Xbox 360 to browse the net
Yes indeed, it is possible, and easy once you set it up, All you need is the 360(Duh!) a PC running at least Vista and the networking instructions found below.
That allows you to, with some work(little work) play both movies and music on your PC, through your 360.
Cool Right?
Now, lets go ahead and take this a little farther, you can download the MCE browser here, install it to a directory that is not locked or hidden(I stuck it in "My Pictures") and if it asks, make it available to all users.
Once you have that, you simply need to go to Media center(Which you should have set up by now) and look under my programs, if you don't see it select the more programs tab, it won't show up in the little bar next to the tab till you use it at least once.
If you still cannot find it, reinstall it to your desktop.
Also you cannot run the media center extender unless Both the 360 and PC you are using are connected to the net.
Here is the Instructions
And the Browser

#101: Free Gameage
There is now a game called Dash of Destruction out for free(read: ZERO CHARGE!!)
On Xbox live, the idea is that you are a T-rex chasing after a truck full of Doritos(Gaming Food, and the sponsor of this game)
Hopefully it's good, and if you have the New Xbox experience and a 360 you can download it directly here.
Also the flash Version for PC Users Here.
See you online!

#11: Poor Translation
I found out that my post numbers were being mistranslated, but I will now use a different method.
Instead of actually backtracking and fixing it I will make a new post, and delay the long stretch of Nil before me.
But I will also add some interesting 360 games to get on Xbox Live.
PowerUp:Forever
I LOVE this game, it is fun to fly around and shoot things, then see what my ship looks like when it grows. I find that it is perfect for something to do when my friends list is empty.
Or WOrms
I like to play this one when I am in a mood to play something less...Violent than my preferred fair. It is based around turn by turn acts that build strategies. Also it is good for a poorly connected party.

#00110011: Gears of War 2 Special Edition Content
I bought the Special Edition of GoW2 from Amazon.com on launch day, and with it I got a tin case, second dvd filled with videos, gamer pics and other assorted goodies, and the code to unlock a Gold-Plated Lancer assault rifle, which only comes with the Special Edition.
Well, I love my Pimpgun(tm), but I feel incomplete without the other weapon.
So now I am attempting to acquire the Golden Hammerburst, which is the other Starting weapon in GoW2.(Acquisition of this weapon initially required one to be at a Gamestop at Midnight on the day of release, not something that I could do)
Like a good nerd, I put my trust in the interwebs and looked on Ebay. There I found many of them for sale, along with the Lancers and some Launch day themes. All of them went individually for about the average price that the upgrade to Special Edition cost on launch day.
I purchased one and am waiting to receive it but I figure some of you might be in a position to want these even though you weren't able to get them earlier. Here's an option:
Look on Ebay, they have them in good amounts and most of the sellers are in good standing.
But remember, Ebay is ALWAYS risky, so don't get mad at me if you get scammed.
Check reputations and sales records.
If you haven't purchased the game yet but you will want those weapons, look for a new Special Edition copy first, then, since they are few and far between anymore, look on Ebay for a copy and then the codes separately.
2 quick notes: A. Don't take it if he says he wants to "test" it, testing would require entry of the code, which nullifies it's use for YOU, and B. Don't get Launch Themes on Ebay, they are a nice, but they are also risky, and you can get GoW2 themes on Xbox Live for the same price, and they don't scam you ever.

#00110010: iPod Hacking
Yes indeed, it is possible to hack iPods.
Not all of them mind you, but the majority of people have either the 30 or 80Gb video iPods. A good thing too, since those are 2 of only 5 versions that can be modded.
This is a safe process if you don't get too intensive. You can safely change colors, images, and fonts, but if you want to really mess with code, you do so in the full knowledge that you can "BRICK" your iPod.
I used it to make my own theme, and with some help, add my name into the title bar so that it is marked to be mine, in a non removable place.
If you are interested, go here.
And to talk with people who know their stuff, Here.
There you go, good luck.

First Post!
Ok, I am just attempting to make something fun for other geeks like me.
I find cool crap, I don't live on my PC though, so stuff I can find time to do is likely to be well within the limits of the average persons time.
I will start actual posting within the week and I'll see about a scheduled update.
